Testing concrete on construction sites is essential for ensuring structural integrity through effective concrete testing. At CFS, all testing is carried out in line with the latest European (EN) Standards, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and full compliance for every project. Our procedures include comprehensive sampling and testing to meet industry best practices for both fresh and hardened concrete, focusing on critical aspects like compressive strength testing.
Services Included:
- Sampling and testing of fresh concrete along with slump testing on site
- Compressive strength testing on moulded and hardened concrete
- Mass per unit volume testing for hardened concrete
- Strength testing of hardened concrete
- Water absorption testing

Slump testing is performed in accordance with EN 12350-2:2019, the European standard for assessing the workability of fresh concrete. This process is essential for effective concrete testing and ensures: Consistent testing methods, reliable measurement of concrete consistency, and verification that the mix meets specification requirements, all of which contribute to accurate compressive strength testing as well as proper sampling and testing.

Our compressive strength testing processes adhere to the EN 12390 suite of standards, ensuring precise and dependable results in concrete testing. We follow the specific guidelines for sampling and testing, including: EN 12390-1 – Shape, dimensions, and preparation of test specimens; EN 12390-2 – Making and curing specimens; EN 12390-3 – Compressive strength testing procedures; and EN 12390-4 – Requirements for testing machines.
